Can I rent a car or bike, to move around faster in Munich?(give a different answer) .
Pedal power is the god in Germany. Most streets are pedestrian only, so there's no point in renting a car, you'll just have a burden stuck on you and no parking place. You can buy a map showing the parking lots from the tourist centre, but one hour of parking will pull out 1.50 euros from your pocket. Bikes can be rented from the Hauptbahnhof for 14 euros per day, or 43 euros for an entire week. The company is called Radius Bike Rental. If you fancy motorcycles, all the rental places are actually gathered in the second floor of the Hauptbahnhof.
