It's the only celebration competing against Oktoberfest in Munich. On the Thursday preceding the seventh Sunday before Easter (odd date, isn't it?), the city runs wild. Alcohol driven guys dress up in clowns, peacocks, Pink Panthers and walk out in the streets. There are formal and informal parades, Monday turns into Sunday (it's actually called the Rosenmontag) and the whole city sizzles with music. Be there!
