Hi guys, is it really worth it to travel by train to Berlin?(give a different answer) .
Well, up to this moment traveling to or from Berlin by train has been a bit confusing as different services had different stations ... for example, the Zoo station was the departure point for long distance travels going to/from the West, while Ostbahnhof and Lichtenberg handled trains to and from the old east. That's a bit confusing, I know, but in 2007 is said to be the opening of the new centralised Lehrter Bahnhof station. Anyway, there are ICE and IC trains hourly to and from every major city in Germany, and night trains for most of the European countries.
