As you probably already know, Germans really love cycling - they even have special "streets" for this activity. This is why there are a lot of companies that rent bicycles. Fahrradservice Kohnke on Friedrichstrasse for instance will fix you up with one for as little as 15 Euros a day. Pedal Power on Grossbeerenstrasse is an even cheaper option.
