You can always ask the locals :) Or go to one of the many museums dedicated to this communist horror. There are also a few stretches of wall that were preserved. There is the East Side Gallery , the longest and best preserved - it runs parallel to the Muehlenstrasse. A visit to the Berliner Mauer Dokumentationszentrum will also help you find out more
