I know there are a couple of hostels in that part of Berlin, but I can only tell you about this one I stayed at myself. It is called Odyssee Globetroter Hostel and it offers clean beds for just 14 Euro a night. It's located on Gruenberger Strasse. Free breakfast and strategic positioning towards the nightlife hot spots of the city :)
