On Boxhagener Strasse at no 73 is the only hostel I know of in this part of Berlin. It's called A&O Hostel Friedrichshain and is in a former lift factory. They will charge around 40 Euros a night, but this place offers more than a usual hostel. There's also a 24h bar to make up for those who didn't enjoy their breakfast.
